Ariel brings her friendly, focused passion for health and fitness from a life spent traveling all over the world! After growing up in Hong Kong and then moving around the US, she has fallen in love with a sea and sunshine-filled life in the Bay Area. BodyROK’s uniquely challenging Sculpt classes have provided the perfect core-strengthening compliment to her work as a chiropractor. Outside of BodyROK, you can find Ariel enjoying some delicious California Mexican food or nerding-out about the awe-inspiring potential of the human body!


Caroline was born and raised in Montreal Canada from a very active family. Summers were spent at a local pool where she competed in swim team, springboard diving, water polo and even tried one season as a synchronized swimmer. Winters were spent on the ski slopes as a ski instructor. Her Job lead her to SF, London, and back to SF. BodyRok was the most challenging and effective workout Caroline had in years. She likes quick transitions, yet keeping every exercise slow and controlled. She loves seeing our members transform their bodies from practicing our high-intensity style Pilates & cycle. 


Emma is from Orange County and has a passion for running! A former college hurdler turned Pilates instructor who loves fitness and food. Emma enjoys baking "healthified" desserts with her twin sister and truly wants to help others reach their fitness goals 🙂
Favorite quote "Success is determined by how you handle setbacks" and favorite exercise is carriage crunches! 


Marjorie is never without a smile on her face. Born and raised in Northern California, she played competitive tennis all the way through her days at UC Santa Cruz. From her first class she was hooked on the challenge and strength of a full body sculpt at BodyRok. Drawn to the intersection of breath and movement, Marjorie’s classes focus on connecting with your breath and proper alignment - a nod to her experience as a 200hr registered yoga instructor. She finds joy in being a part of the supportive BodyRok community, the happiest color - yellow - and her dog Jameson, named after her favorite drink. :) 


A Bay Area native and a true California girl, Melissa has always had a passion for health and fitness. Her life changed course in 2007 when she left her job in finance to pursue that passion and teach fitness classes at a Bikini Bootcamp on the beaches of Tulum, Mexico. Upon her return to the Bay Area, Melissa entered the health and wellness industry and joined Kaiser Permanente’s workforce health team. Her classes focus on proper form and are designed to flow efficiently through the exercises, maximizing your time - and your results!

Nikki comes to us from Charleston SC. As a drummer in a band Nikki has deep roots in music, performance, fitness and the desire to help others. After taking her first spin class, she found her calling & pursued a career as an instructor bringing her passion for rhythm, desire to push your fitness limits & sweat to the beats. 


Shauna Barnard is a former collegiate swimmer and has been teaching yoga and Pilates for 5 years in the Bay Area. She encourages her students to explore their bodies through movement and breath and challenges them to get stronger, attain their goals & find that “shaky” place:)  

When she isn't teaching or taking class, she heads outside with her "fur squad" to explore!

Shiao is both a Pilates Instructor and a Chef focused on holistic, nutrition-based eating. She believes Pilates and a good, organic diet are a great way to facilitate a grounded presence, a healthy body, and a positive mindset; the best medicine for a long, happy life. In addition to being a Bodyrok Pilates Instructor, Shiao is also completing Balanced Body’s 500 hour Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Training. Shiao is eager to help you explore the depths of your ability to tune into your body and strengthen your practice.
